Before:

Studied design in Auckland, established Calico Pie, a whole foods store in Palmerston North whilst a student at Massey University…… renovated houses, has cycled around England, Ireland & Wales, lived in Amsterdam and trekked in Nepal.

Pleasures:

Food and wine, art and literature, keeping up with daughter Bella, mokopunas Elijah & Aaliyah. Journeys, road trips and adventures, horses, walking, skiing and cycling, always a dog and the odd foster (dog).

Passions: Design projects, repurposing, hospitality and eating out (especially when travelling). A child's right to be happy, healthy and secure. Overpopulation of the planet and pressure on species, responsible resource management.
